Music isn't simply an extracurricular activity in Israel's education. It is one of his primary areas of study. Israel is developing as a trombonist through ensemble participation, independent practice, performance, music education, and professional development. His long-term goals include performing professionally, pursuing collegiate music opportunities, earning music and band scholarships, and becoming a teaching artist who can help younger musicians develop their own skills.

CURRENT MUSIC GOALS
During high school, Israel is working toward:
Strengthening musicianship and trombone technique
Expanding his performance repertoire
Developing stronger sight-reading skills
Studying music theory
Exploring arranging and composition
Learning the business side of professional musicianship
Building teaching skills
Preparing for collegiate music and band opportunities
Developing a professional portfolio of performances and recordings

One of Israel's developing interests is helping beginning musicians understand rhythm, notation, sight-reading, and foundational music theory.
During high school, he plans to experiment with creating original exercises and educational materials that can eventually become resources for younger musicians.
